PracticeHwy uses encryption to provide a secure
connections through a otherwise insecure
network, typically the Internet. VPNs use
private lines but rely on having the same
encryption
at both ends.
Your system administrator can
create User Name and Password for PH support staff
and ensure high level of security and encryption.
He/She also supplies PracticeHwy with the IP address
or URL of the VPN server. PracticeHwy will
then connect to your network via the given IP or
URL. From there PracticeHwy uses the telnet,
web browsers, pcAnywhere or VCN to respond to the
problem.
